Absent
i see you looking at me
giving me that attitude
with that expression like
i'm dog shit stuck to
the bottom of your Chuck
but don't blame me
for not saving you
i didn't sign up for that job
it was already taken
you're the one who kept
calling in sick

I like the angst, and how when I read it, it was like I was spitting it at someone. Haha. Nice!
ouch! this stings.
aw mom got tough.
wish I could say that to someone in the face. How delicious that would taste.
whoa...that is tense
A friend of mine has a daughter going through an ugly divorce. I could see this being sent to her husband. (The emotional abuse has been terrible.)
Love the attitude. Very strong!
@flann00 - that's how I felt!
ooohh! That is good. real good.
this, unfortunately, reminds me of someone.
Self sabotage is such an ugly and painful thing to see. And why do they always blame someone else for the hole in their foot when they are the ones holding the gun? I can really relate to this. A former employee that was fired for a myriad of reasons was denied unemployment and now wants to sue the univ... such is the attitude and mindset. I can really, really relate to this.
It's sound like if the main character of the poem is talking to a problematic child, isn't?
dammit
(there has only been one other post that I commented thusly . . . i hope you understand the way he seemed to)
@adventofreason - I felt exactly that way when I wrote this . . . Hey you! Thanks for stopping by. I hope your Thanksgiving was most awesome.
